Phone support is free for our clients. They are free to ask any technology related question from how to turn their computer on to how to do a mail merge using Word and Excel. Nine times out of ten questions can be answered over the phone.

A very convenient service we offer our business clients is onsite service and support. If the service is able to be done at their office, we do it there. This way the client isn't inconvenienced by unplugging and moving their equipment to another location. If the upgrade needs to be performed at our office, we do the pickup and delivery of the equipment. Some people are intimidated by disconnecting or setting their computers back up again, so we do it for them. There have been many times when we pick up a computer on a Friday night and perform the upgrade over the weekend. This eliminates down time the business would have by being without their computer. Small upgrades can be done during the evening instead of a weekend.

If there are some services we cannot provide, we business partner with someone who can. Internet access and professional web design are just two examples. Every computer we sell gets inventoried into our detailed database and is assigned a unique ID number. When our clients need to upgrade or have repairs done, it is easy to bring up their computer's specifications using their ID number. Our database contains specific information such as the size of components (hard drive, video card, etc.), how much RAM is in the computer and how its configured, and other detailed items.

Network Services

The clients of Computer Solutions are very special. All sales calls and network designs are done at no charge. The first time we meet, we listen to your needs. Most clients know they need a network, but they're not sure why or how. That's where we come in. We ask you what your expectations are and what you want out of your network. We also take a close look at your office area layout so we can accurately quote cabling lengths and amount of time we'd spend on their job.

After gathering the data, we take it back to the office and find a solution. There are certain things that are always included with a network that some companies leave out. For example, every network is quoted a backup system to backup their data on a daily basis. Second, every server, no matter how large or small, is quoted with a UPS. A UPS is a battery backup device that allows your server to keep running during a power outage. A loss in power could result in corrupt data. All computers on the network are quoted with surge suppression and virus protecting software - two important items that are often overlooked. When the network design and quote is drawn up, we meet with the client again and go over everything in detail. We try to make the client understand as much as possible about their network and why they need certain items. Often times this requires patience and using analogies. We also need to explain to them why they will pay more for our hardware than what they can get at a superstore.

After the network design is approved by the client, the orders are placed for all the equipment. When the items come in, the network is assembled in our office. After we verify that all components of the network are functioning properly, we call the client to do data transfer (if necessary). We pick up their old server/computer at the end of their office hours, so they have no down time. That evening, data is transferred. The next day the network is installed in their office. If cabling is needed on the network, it can be done after hours as well to prevent disrupting daily procedures. Most other computer companies do not provide after hours onsite service. Small things like this is what helps keep our clients satisfied.

After the network is installed and configured onsite, occasionally training is performed onsite. This includes how to operate the tape backup (putting in a tape at the end of the day), explaining file sharing and printer sharing, and sometimes software usage. A detailed network portfolio is also presented to them after the install, which contains detailed specs on the network. We include this with the network design and analysis after a full network is installed. It contains how daily network procedures are performed (such as backup procedures and UPS management), detailed specs on each computer on the network, Internet or faxing access (if any), cabling design and specs, software configuration, and files sharing access. No other computer company in the area provides this type of service without charging an outrageous fee. Phone support continues indefinitely at no charge for these clients, as long as their equipment is from us. Any time additions or changes need to be done on the network, the client calls us.

You can save money on computer services by purchasing one of three popular service contracts. While our normal pricing is $85 per hour with a half hour minimum, the following are three plans that we offer to help you manage your costs:

CD Burner

Need a computer ASAP but don't have one accessible to you? Need to do a presentation? Rent a laptop today. The laptop is loaded with all popular software and includes a carrying case, power adapter, and external mouse. Has built in floppy and DVD drives so there is no hassle switching drives. This Toshiba laptop has a Celeron 400 MHz processor with 128 MB RAM and plenty of hard drive space. Rental available for $30/day.

Laser Printer
Would you like a better quality print for a project than what your deskjet printer will give you? Did your laser printer malfunction or is it in for repair and you just can't live without your printer? This HP Laserjet 4000 will do the job. The Laserjet 4000 should handle most printing projects ranging from the basic file to payroll processing to printing mass mail merge projects. Rental available for $30/day.

Deposits
All rentals come with a carrying case (except printer) and all necessary drivers, cables, adapters, and software. Deposits required for rentals. When the item is returned in working condition, the deposit will be returned to you. Credit card deposits will not be processed unless the item is returned defective. Deposits are as follows:
